Sibling tuition fees discount:

The second child will receive a $25 discount, and the third child or any additional children will receive a $50 discount on the monthly tuition fees.

Monthly Payment Policy

The Islamic School of Hamilton is strictly enforcing the following policies for the current school year:

  1. If you choose to withdraw your child, whether before the school year begins or during the school year, you must make an appointment with the principal and sign the formal withdrawal form.
  2. If you withdraw your child from the school during the school year, you must provide the school with 60 days prior written notice. If you fail to provide the 60-day prior notice, you will be responsible for paying the fees for the next two months, regardless of the reason for withdrawal. No exceptions will be given. Note: the Islamic School of Hamilton and Supply Fee is non-refundable upon registering the student, even if the student is withdrawn before the school year begins.
  3. If you chose to leave for vacation, or take any time off for any given reason, you must pay the full fees for that specific period.

The only time that payments will be stopped is when you choose to fully withdraw from the school, after giving 60 days notice to the principal on the official withdrawal form.

Subsidy

The subsidy form can be used by candidates who cannot pay the required ISH monthly student Fees. Once the subsidy form is received, the form will be confidentially reviewed and evaluated by the Subsidy Committee, hired by the Muslim Association of Hamilton. This committee will review all applications and determine eligibility. Their decision will be communicated to you in writing within 14 days from the submission of the form.

Application Procedure:

  1. Register your child(ren) at the Islamic School of Hamilton and pay the mandatory registration and supply fees. Upon registration, you MUST submit the regular fees accordingly, including the 10 post- dated cheques in full amount. If and when your application has been accepted, the accountant will return the post-dated cheques and ask you to revise the monthly fees and submit the discounted school fees before the start of the school year.
  2. Complete all sections of the subsidy form including signature and date.
  3. Provide the school with all required legal documents that state your income.
  4. Return the subsidy form to the school by April 30, 2024.

Please Note: The maximum allowable subsidy is 30% of the monthly fees (if approved). Your Subsidy application will be rejected if you do not complete all sections of the form, including your signature, or if you do not submit the official documentation in support of your request.
